Job summary

This is an office and field dispatch role for Krapf Group. You will coordinate driver schedules and trips to meet contract requirements while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You may perform Rover driver duties and work a flexible schedule as needed.

You will monitor driver communications, update on-time performance, and collaborate with operations to meet division objectives while upholding Krapf core values and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a dynamic dispatch environment preferred.
• Must be 21+ with a valid CDL with passenger endorsement (or willingness to obtain).
• Satisfactory MVR, criminal history and child abuse history records.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and required certifications.
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask during peak hours while supporting drivers.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain confidentiality.
• Computer literacy and average typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Krapf vision and mission in all activities.
• Accept and demonstrate core values of commitment, open communication, respect and excellent service.
• Represent Krapf in a professional, business-like manner.
• Comply with all company safety and policy standards.
• Comply with federal and state regulations for operating commercial vehicles.
• Monitor daily driver radio communications and provide updates.
• Prepare and review driver schedules and assign drivers.
• Verify driver work schedules and timesheets reflect work completed.
• Interact with operations and maintenance regarding equipment and issues.
• Respond calmly to issues and provide clear communication.
• Troubleshoot driver performance issues and report to Operations Manager.
• Coordinate with shop to minimize downtime and maintain operations.
• Work with dispatchers to meet division objectives and costs.
• Perform Rover driver duties when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
