AristaCare is seeking a Transport Aide to support resident care by safely transporting residents to therapy sessions, appointments, and activities within its New Jersey facility.

The role emphasizes timely arrival, resident comfort, and dignity, while aiding nursing and rehabilitation staff. Previous healthcare exposure is a plus; HHA license is required. This is a part-time, per diem position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, SNF, or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Must be HHA licensed.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from therapy, dining, activities, and appointments.
• Assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices.
• Ensure residents are properly positioned and secured during transport.
• Communicate resident needs or concerns to nursing or therapy staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment.
• Respond promptly to transport requests.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents and families.
