Job summary

AristaCare Health Services is seeking a Transport Aide to support resident care by safely transporting residents for therapy, medical appointments, and activities. This role helps ensure residents arrive on time, comfortable, and with dignity, while supporting nursing and rehabilitation staff.

The position is part-time, per diem, with competitive rates and benefits provided through AristaCare's in-house Talent Acquisition process.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience in SNF or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• HHA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from therapy, dining, activities, and appointments.
• Assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices.
• Ensure residents are properly positioned and secured during transport.
• Communicate resident needs or concerns to nursing or therapy staff.
• Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of transport equipment.
• Respond promptly to transport requests.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents and families.
