Job summary

CommonSpirit Health’s Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse. You will deliver compassionate, high-quality care, perform assessments, and implement patient care plans within an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

Applicants should have a BSN and TX RN license, with CPR/BLS certification. A relocation incentive of up to $10,000 is available for eligible hires, supporting a smooth transition to our facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; RN license valid in TX.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience upon hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide holistic nursing care.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with discharge planning and family education.
• Prepare patients for procedures, implement physician orders, and ensure medication safety.
• Regularly reassess patient responses and adjust care with physician input.
• Communicate updates and coordinate handoffs during bedside shifts.
• Maintain a safe environment and contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
