Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Transplant Program Specialist to support the transplant team under the Transplant Program Manager. The role serves as the liaison between patients and clinical staff, handling communications by phone and written correspondence.

Responsibilities include maintaining transplant records, accurate data entry in the EMR, and staying current with UNOS and CMS regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with four years of relatable work experience.
• Experience in secretarial/clerical roles preferred; strong written and verbal communication.
• Basic keyboarding skills required; medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally; capable of cooperative relationships

Responsabilités

• Establish, coordinate and perform administrative duties to support the transplant team.
• Serve as liaison between patients and clinical staff via telephone and written correspondence.
• Maintain transplant-related records and ensure accurate data entry in the EMR.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.
