Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an experienced Clinical RN Transplant Coordinator II to advance clinical management for transplant patients and to lead staff training. This role reports to the Transplant Programs Manager and stays current with UNOS and CMS regulations to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities include ongoing staff development and research-based practice, fostering clinical knowledge growth among peers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• ANA generalist certification may be required for related specialty areas.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and uses advanced clinical management and consultation to promote quality transplant patient care.
• Provides ongoing training for new staff.
• Keeps up to date with UNOS and CMS regulatory changes.
