Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center seeks an Intra-abdominal transplant Clinical Pharmacy Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality transplant pharmacotherapy. You will guide clinical services, develop protocols, and advance education in transplant care.

The role requires directing patient care across inpatient and outpatient transplant settings, mentoring residents and students, and driving quality improvement within a busy academic hospital.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacist license/registration in NYS.
• Completion of PGY2 Residency in transplant preferred.
• Board certification in transplant (e.g., BCTXP) preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in academic or teaching hospitals and research is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacy services for intra-abdominal transplant patients across pre-, peri-, and post-transplant periods.
• Oversee immunosuppressant monitoring, antimicrobial prophylaxis, and complex drug regimens.
• Develop and maintain clinical protocols, order sets, and pathways; ensure safe pharmacotherapy.
