Job summary

CareDx is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator in Atlanta, GA to coordinate all aspects of a transplant patient's medication journey. You will ensure refills, assist with copays, educate patients, and collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and insurers to keep care seamless.

The role emphasises adherence, documentation, and compliance, with a focus on white-glove service and patient education. A state license and healthcare background are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma required.
• Active state licensure (Mississippi Board of Pharmacy) with no disciplinary action.
• Pharmacy tech or healthcare background (2+ years often preferred).
• Baseline proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with pharmacy staff.
• Team-oriented and proactive in supporting tasks, big or small.
• Self-motivation to increase clinical knowledge.
• URAC/ACHC accreditation experience preferred but not required.
• Understanding of transplant care and medical terminology beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for patients, guiding them through their transplant medication regimen.
• Ensure timely fulfillment, coordinate refills, and track discharge/maintenance medications.
• Help patients access copay assistance and communicate costs.
• Liaise with physicians, pharmacists, and insurance to resolve issues like prior authorizations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and case activity logs.
• Adhere to all federal/state laws, HIPAA, and company standards.
