Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (CNA/LNA) for the Transplant Progressive Care Unit in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves direct patient care, data collection, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team on a 7am-7:30pm schedule with self-scheduling for some weekends.

We offer a supportive environment with opportunities to grow into RN roles as part of the department's development program. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for licensed CNAs or LNAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Computer literacy and basic keyboarding abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and basic hygiene to promote comfort and health.
• Take vital signs and document data in the medical record.
• Communicate patient status and needs clearly to licensed professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Support clinical staff with procedures and equipment as directed by licensed professionals.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support efficient unit operations.
