Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Certified Patient Care Assistant to join the Phoenix team. You will work with RNs to deliver quality, compassionate patient care in a high-acuity pulmonary/geriatrics unit, on a 7am–7:30pm day shift with weekend/holiday rotations.

Eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on complex care plans. The role emphasizes adherence to policy, patient data documentation, and readiness to support operational needs while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current BLS certification is required for all hires.
• CNA certification/licensure is required for practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
• Document patient data and communicate changes to the care team.
• Support nursing staff with data collection and care coordination.
• Operate basic medical equipment under supervision and maintain records.
• Provide courteous reception and clerical support as needed.
