Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks an Outreach Coordinator to act as the primary link between the transplant program and the broader medical community. You will help patients, dialysis centers, and referring physicians access seamless communication and vital transplant education to improve referral pathways and outcomes.

You will build collaborative relationships, coordinate community outreach events, develop educational and marketing materials, and implement a peer mentoring program.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building skills are required.
• Experience in community education or marketing is preferred.
• Understanding transplant coordination process is important.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with community medical providers through outreach meetings, CME programs and educational materials.
• Coordinate community outreach events and patient education initiatives.
• Develop informational brochures and materials on transplant journeys and outcomes.
• Institute peer mentoring program by coordinating training and recognizing mentors.
