Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, TX is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Transplant Operating Room. This full-time role operates 6:30am–7pm with days varied and requires call and holiday coverage.

Candidates should have CST and BLS credentials, and 2+ years of surgical tech experience; transplant or vascular experience is preferred. Must be willing to support other service lines and work under the RN supervision in the OR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Certified in Basic Life Support; NBSTSA/NCCT certification.
• 2+ years of surgical tech experience preferred; transplant or vascular experience preferred.
• Willing to support other service lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent perioperative patient care as scrub assistant.
• Support case readiness and case flow in the OR.
• Verify supplies and equipment prior to procedures according to surgeon’s card.
• Uphold safety, efficiency, and Memorial Hermann standards.
