Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Surgical Technologist Program.
• Licenses/Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT certification.
• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: New Grad <1 year; Surg Tech I, II, III levels.

Responsibilities

• Provides expert perioperative patient care in the OR using instruments and equipment.
• Acts as a scrub assistant to the physician during operative and invasive procedures.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and advanced surgical practices to ensure patient safety and efficient OR operations.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor to less experienced staff and provides orientation and in-service training.
