Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination during the designated shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models the organization’s values to support exceptional patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient throughput and care quality.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
• Create a team-oriented environment supporting improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
• Implement nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds to improve engagement.
• Contribute to staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, conflict resolution, and policy compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

Qualifications required:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• Charge RN experience.
