Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate care for transplant patients. You will assess patient needs with the care team, plan across the care continuum, and provide family education.

You will lead through community involvement, quality improvement, and research, adhering to ANA standards and UNOS guidelines while maintaining BLS and transplant certifications within three years.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations in patient care.
• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Coordinators in Transplant must obtain CCTC or CCTN within three years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess and plan with patient, caregiver and healthcare team across the care continuum.
• Provide patient and family education consistently.
• Provide leadership through committee work and quality improvement activities.
