Mayo Clinic is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse in Jacksonville, FL. The role coordinates all aspects of transplant patient care, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and educates patients and families throughout the care continuum.

The position requires a BSN, RN license in the state, and BLS certification, with leadership and strong communication skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, full time, with typical 8:00am–5:00pm hours and 80 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in applicable state.
• BLS certification maintained.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients in collaboration with patient, caregiver and multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education consistently.
• Lead activities related to quality improvement, research and committee work.
• Adhere to ANA/UNOS/FACT guidelines and professional standards.
