Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics seeks a Senior Product Manager, Transpacific, to source and procure ocean transportation services between Asia and the USA. The role emphasizes cost, quality, and timely delivery with strong supplier relationships.

The candidate will guide rate expectations, support sales teams, and drive growth in trade volumes, working across branches and customers to optimize procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation and logistics procurement, preferably in a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, negotiating, and procuring transportation and logistics services.
• Ensure services are procured at best cost, quality, and delivery time.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Buy fixed & floating rate products and space from ocean carriers; secure advantageous terms.
• Provide market insights and risk mitigation strategies to branches, sales, and customers.
• Guide price/service/routing decisions to optimize DSV's GP.
