Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Transpacific to source, negotiate, and procure transportation and logistics services for our Asia–USA trades.

The role focuses on obtaining best cost, quality, and delivery, while maintaining strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships. You will lead buying efforts for fixed and floating rate space, drive growth across the sales cycle, and provide market insights to defend our market position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Logistics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics procurement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Buy fixed & floating rate ocean space between Asia and the USA and secure favorable terms.
• Drive growth by enabling sales cycles and prioritizing optimal opportunities for DSV's FCL products.
• Provide market insights and risk mitigation to branches, sales and customers.
• Allocate customer volume commitments with carrier performance teams.
• Re-procure buying rates and recommend selling rates to optimize gross profit.
