Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is a global provider of technology and business consulting services seeking a highly motivated associate analyst to join our team in White Plains, NY.

The role focuses on transmission revenue requirements, rate design, and energy market analysis. The candidate will assist in developing cost-of-service models, preparing analyses for FERC filings and supporting several NYS Comptroller-related financial forecasts.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of economics, finance and accounting concepts and theories.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to details required, including ability to interpret financial, marketing and utility tariff data.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Excel test will be given at interview.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of Transmission Revenue Requirement models and templates.
• Assist in monthly rate setting of NTAC and TSC reporting.
• Assist in preparation of analysis for FERC filings for cost recovery of future transmission investments.
• Assist in cost of service and rate development calculations for Generation and Supply business.
• Assist in performing customer savings/cost comparison.
• Update departmental procedures and document processes.
