Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking an Energy & Utilities Analyst to assist with power system studies, financial cost/benefit analyses, and investment planning for energy clients in the US.

You will support delivery teams across transmission, distribution, fossil and renewable generation projects, applying engineering and economic concepts to client problems. You will help with data collection, reports, and presentations, and collaborate with project managers to prepare technical analyses, risk assessments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• ABET accreditation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Analytical problem-solving in quantitative contexts.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes engineering, financial, and economic conditions for client projects.
• Supports power system planning, power flow, and reliability studies.
• Assists with life-cycle cost analyses and capital/OM costs.
• Prepares technical reports and client presentations.
• Contributes to risk assessments and contract administration.
