Job summary

LS Power is seeking an experienced Regulatory Policy Manager to lead regulatory policy and stakeholder engagement in the MISO and SPP regions. The role involves building strategic relationships with regional transmission organizations, utilities, and partners, and advocating policies that protect LS Power's transmission investments.

You will monitor regional developments, participate in stakeholder processes, and support planning and solicitation activities while coordinating with legal on FERC

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electric transmission regulation, RTO policy, or transmission development.
• Experience working with MISO and/or SPP tariffs, stakeholder processes, and regulatory proceedings preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with MISO and SPP leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify and cultivate transmission partnerships with utilities and other industry participants.
• Represent LS Power in stakeholder processes and regulatory proceedings.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advocate for LS Power positions.
• Support regional transmission planning and competitive solicitation processes.
• Coordinate with legal and internal teams on filings and tariff revisions.
• Provide concise assessments of regulatory developments and opportunities.
