The Transmission Project Engineer will be responsible for the technical aspects and deliverables of transmission line projects, executing design tasks, and guiding junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses to develop design options.
• Perform PLS-CADD modeling and calculations.
• Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.
• Perform routine engineering and design tasks.
• Participate in field reviews or construction observation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng).
• Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (PLS-CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).
• Commitment to an employee‑owned culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Previous experience with an engineering consulting firm.
• Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED (desired but not required).
