Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses to develop design options.
- Perform PLS-CADD modeling, calculations, and analyses.
- Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.
- Execute routine to moderately complex engineering and design tasks.
- Lead design teams to develop and complete full construction packages for transmission line projects.
- Participate in field reviews or construction observation.
- Train and mentor junior and entry‑level engineers.
- Coordinate work of the electrical design team on large institutional/industrial projects through schematic design development and contract document phase.
- Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
- Coordinate workload to meet delivery schedule.
- Conduct work sessions at the project site with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
- Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, incorporating approved changes into the project documents.
- Perform QA/QC for transmission projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
- Prior experience with an engineering consulting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with NESC and GO 95 codes, and with PLS‑TOWER and/or SAPS modules of PLS‑CADD.
- Prior experience with utility or engineering consulting firms is desirable.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).

Expected compensation range: $93,000 – $132,000, depending on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
