Job summary

Cache Valley Electric Co. is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support 2–4 Project Managers in its Line Division, coordinating transmission line, substation, and utility infrastructure projects.

The role serves as a bridge between Project Managers, field teams, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments. Ideal candidates enjoy organization, multi-tasking, and keeping complex construction projects moving forward.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to support multiple Project Managers and projects
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day project support for 2–4 Project Managers within the Line Division
• Assist with project startup, ongoing project administration, and project closeout
• Maintain project documentation, files, logs, and records
• Assist with preparing, submitting, and tracking RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation
• Track outstanding project items and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate communication between Project Managers, field leadership, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal CVE departments
• Assist Project Managers with meeting preparation, meeting notes, action items, and follow-up
• Help maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and look-ahead items
• Assist with procurement and tracking of materials and equipment
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery dates, and documentation
• Assist with tracking project costs, commitments, invoices, and other financial information
• Support Project Managers with change management and documentation
• Help prepare project reports and provide updates on outstanding action items
• Assist with manpower, equipment, and project resource coordination as needed
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic project records
• Assist with customer and contractor documentation requirements
• Support project closeout, including collection and organization of required closeout documentation
• Identify missing information or potential issues and proactively communicate them to the appropriate Project Manager
• Perform additional project coordination responsibilities as needed to support the Line Division
