Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Principal Consultant - Transmission and Interconnection

AVA Energy are exclusively partnered with an established electric utility looking for a Transmission Planning Engineer. This role will be full-time and hybrid onsite in the Austin area.

Requirements:

3+ years of hands on experience across Transmission Planning, Power Flow Analysis, and Interconnection doing stability and steady state studies.
Expertise using power flow software such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, TARA, PSLF.
Understanding of the Unites States Power Market landscape.
Previous experience working at a Utility, ISO, Consultancy, or Renewable Developer.
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and PE License.
