What You’ll Do
- Lead and contribute to complex transmission planning projects across a variety of utility clients and regions
- Perform steady‑state, transient, and dynamic analysis to ensure system adequacy and compliance with planning standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on system upgrades, new interconnections, and NERC‑related initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical review of planning reports, power flow models, and study results
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8–12 years of transmission planning experience within the utility or consulting space
- Proficient in power system analysis tools (e.g., PSS®E, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld) and familiar with FERC/NERC standards
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present study results to both technical and non‑technical audiences
