Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering/physics degree required; electrical preferred
• 9+ years with PE or 15+ years without PE
• Experience with multiple power system transmission analysis tools (PSSE, TARA, EMS, ASPEN, CAPE, PROMOD, PLEXOS, PowerWorld, PSCAD)
• EIT/FE or PE registration preferred
• Graduate degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Directs and runs power system studies for complex projects.
• Develops scopes for long-range transmission system plans.
• Self-directed work with broad business impact.
• Serves as a spokesperson within Integrated System Planning.
• Advises management and supports workflow within the department.
• Supports testimony in state regulatory processes and strategic direction.
