Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, electrical power theory or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure collaboration between project management, maintenance, construction, functional management groups and SOCC regarding outage requests and scheduling.
• Review and coordinate construction, maintenance and customer project transmission voltage outage requests; make scheduling recommendations.
• Prepare and submit documentation to SOCC for system review and scheduling approval with ERCOT.
• Review documentation for best practices regarding outage requests and cancellations to meet ERCOT's highest approval rating level.

We are now hiring a Senior Transmission Outage and Schedule Coordinator! This individual will be responsible for the coordination and oversite of accurate submissions of transmission system outage requests to the System Operations Control Center (SOCC). You will have the opportunity to travel across Texas to LCRA work sites (with travel accommodations provided) to make sure outage request processes run smoothly and to identify and mitigate potential risks.
