Job summary

The Senior Transmission Outage and Schedule Coordinator at LCRA in San Angelo will oversee the coordination and submission of transmission outage requests to the SOCC, with travel across Texas to LCRA sites, to identify risks and ensure outage processes run smoothly while supporting critical Texas infrastructure.

You’ll collaborate with project management, maintenance, construction and functional groups, prepare documentation for ERCOT review, and help ensure timely scheduling and compliance

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of experience in operations, maintenance or engineering related to high voltage transmission lines and substations, or other relevant experience.
• A degree(s) in engineering, electrical power theory or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
• Driver's License

We are now hiring a Senior Transmission Outage and Schedule Coordinator in San Angelo! This individual will be responsible for the coordination and oversite of accurate submissions of transmission system outage requests to the System Operations Control Center (SOCC). You will travel across Texas to LCRA work sites (with travel accommodations provided) to make sure outage request processes run smoothly and to identify and mitigate potential risks.
