Job summary

Lower Colorado River Authority in Texas seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Transmission Line O&M Engineering team. Plan, supervise and complete critical O&M activities to ensure safety, efficiency, resilience and reliability of high-voltage assets.

You will support inspections, analyze integrity, and drive preventative maintenance. You will mentor engineers, manage budgets, and coordinate with field crews.

Qualifications

• Twelve years of experience in engineering with leadership responsibilities.
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas (Water Services).
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to guide the long-term operational approach for thousands of miles of transmission assets.
• Lead preventative, predictive, and emergency maintenance programs to improve durability and performance of transmission assets.
• Mentor, manage, and scale a high-performing team of engineers and analysts.
• Champion safety by aligning with internal safety standards.
• Direct rapid-response efforts during storm restorations and system outages.
• Build, track, and optimize annual operational expenditure budgets.
