Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Intern to join our Power Delivery team in the Kansas City area. You will gain real‑world experience on exciting projects while applying engineering techniques under supervision.

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program is required, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Preference for local candidates and a GPA of 3.0+ is noted.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
• Preference is given to local candidates

• Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
