Job summary

ECE is hiring a Transmission Line Engineer to design and deliver transmission infrastructure that keeps communities powered. You’ll work on critical projects, with ownership and a stake in the company as an employee-owned firm.

You’ll design transmission lines (35kV–230kV), prepare RUS contracts, support permitting, and participate in construction oversight from concept to close-out.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of NESC and RUS standards.
• Experience with PLS-CADD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design transmission lines (35kV–230kV) and structures.
• Prepare RUS 830 contracts and project documentation.
• Support permitting (DOT, rail, waterway, pipeline, utility crossings).
• Involve in construction oversight, inspections, and project close-out.

• Prepare RUS 830 contracts and project documentation
• Support permitting (DOT, rail, waterway, pipeline, utility crossings)
• Be involved in construction oversight, inspections, and project close‑out

What You Bring

• BS in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or related)
• Knowledge of NESC & RUS standards
• PLS-CADD software experience a plus

Bonus Points

• PE license (or on track)
• RUS project and field experience
