Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide leadership and senior-level engineering expertise on complex electric transmission design projects for HV and EHV overhead utility systems. You will guide line routing, survey coordination, and design reviews while ensuring safety and quality.

You will supervise a team of engineers, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and develop proposals and estimates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification (required).
  • 10+ years of related transmission line engineering experience (required).
  • Extensive experience using PLS-CADD (required).
  • Experience with design codes/standards (NESC, IEEE, ASCE, ACI).
  • Liaising with substation, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety regulations.
  • Adept self-starter in unstructured, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong collaboration with team members and peers in electrical utility industry.
  • Excellent business and technical communication skills.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach other team members and provide direction for projects

  • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy
Job Offer
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $190,000 USD.
  • Competitive compensation with yearly performance reviews and discretionary annual bonuses
  • 401(k) (Traditional & Roth plans) with a guaranteed employer match of 100% up to the first 3% and 50% on the next 2% (eligibility after 60 days)
