EVS, Inc. in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Transmission Line Designer to produce construction-ready drawings in AutoCAD under transmission line engineers, following client standards and vendor data.

You'll prepare structure details, plans and profiles, and coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and QA/QC teams. Qualifications include an associate degree or technical certificate in drafting or engineering technology, at least four years of transmission line drafting experience, and strong AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting, CAD, engineering technology preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Minimum of four years of transmission line drafting or design experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD; proven ability to produce organized, professional construction drawings and complete job packages.
• Experience with transmission line hardware assemblies, structure framing, plans and profiles, grounding details, material lists, and related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate transmission line drawings in AutoCAD under engineers and design criteria.
• Prepare structure framing, hardware assemblies, and bills of material.
• Produce plan/profile sheets, structure details, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, survey personnel, and QA/QC to resolve issues.
