American Electric Power (AEP) in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Transmission Line Crew Supervisor Non-Exempt to oversee field crews in the construction, maintenance and operation of transmission lines and stations. You will plan, schedule, and lead activities, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies and safety rules, while maintaining strong internal and public relations.

You will supervise, train, and evaluate personnel, procure materials, and coordinate with other company functions.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of construction or maintenance and operation of transmission lines.
• High School graduate or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise line crews in construction, maintenance and operation of transmission lines.
• Ensure safe work rules are followed and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment as required.
• Maintain records and reports and communicate with supervisor.
• Attend meetings and coordinate with other parts of the company.
• Perform duties of a Transmission Line Mechanic-A as needed.
