Pike Electric, Inc. is seeking a Groundman in Odessa, Texas to start a rewarding career in the construction and maintenance of the power grid.

You will report to the Foreman and perform physically demanding outdoor duties, assisting with building and repairing de-energized lines. This role requires stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver's license (CDL within 60 days preferred), and willingness to travel and respond to outages or emergencies, including on-call rotations, with a

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather.
• Willingness to travel long distances on short notice.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair de‑energized powerlines.
• Assist in installing overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good order.
• Work outdoors in extreme conditions and during outages or emergencies.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
