Job summary

AEP is seeking a Transmission Field Services Coordinator to support Asset Management with data, reporting and analytics. You will partner with TFS Data Analysts and stakeholders to deliver information products that enable reliable operation, risk reduction and informed investment decisions.

You will translate complex information into concise insights, develop dashboards and presentations, and promote standardized reporting while managing multiple priorities in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 1 year of utility field experience; or high school diploma or GED and 3 years of related utility field experience.
• Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 3 years of utility field experience; or high school diploma or GED and 5 years of related utility field experience including Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience.
• Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and 6 years of utility field experience; or high school diploma or GED and 10 years of related utility field experience including Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Asset Management data, reporting, and analytical requests, working with stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and facilitate the delivery of information products that support operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Evaluate business questions and independently determine the most effective method to develop and deliver results, including the use of existing reporting solutions, dashboard enhancements, ad hoc analyses, presentations, data extracts, or other decision‑support tools.
• Collaborate with analysts, coordinators, Asset Management teams, Quality Services leadership, and other stakeholders to develop, refine, and deliver reporting and analytical solutions that meet business needs.
• Translate complex technical, operational, and analytical information into concise, actionable insights that enable leaders to quickly understand issues, evaluate alternatives, and make informed decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, visualization techniques, information accessibility, and decision‑support processes while promoting consistency and alignment across TFS and Asset Management organizations.
