Job summary

FirstEnergy AMRC Asset Management Support team seeks a Data Analyst II/III/IV to analyze transmission reliability data and related inputs, delivering insights that reduce risk and optimize investments.

You will apply advanced statistics, machine learning, and reporting tools (Python, R, SQL) and collaborate across Power Delivery, IT and business units to produce reliable analytics and stakeholder-ready dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field with 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience processing and generating insight from large structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Knowledge of FE systems including iTOA, OPPM, GIS, Cascade, EMS, SAP, and PI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Query large data sets from iTOA, OPPM and other sources and interpret results with advanced statistics.
• Apply linear regression, machine learning and other quantitative methods to forecast trends.
• Collaborate with Power Delivery and IT to streamline data access and build custom reporting products.
• Develop and maintain reports and analytics using Oracle BIP, Toad, RapidMiner, Python and Power BI.
• Support data governance through validation and testing of transmission reliability data and systems.
