Qualifications

• BSCE, BSME, or BSEE from ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification with plan to obtain PE license.
• 1+ year experience in transmission line design.
• Fundamental knowledge of transmission and distribution engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in Excel; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures.
• Perform structural, electrical, and load flow analyses to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Utilize PLS-CADD and other software to create models, designs, and staking plans.
• Prepare materials lists for transmission components considering terrain, weather, and load.
• Assemble construction packages with plan/profile sheets, BOMs, staking sheets, and foundations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and engineers to support project execution.
• Provide technical support during construction and implementation phases.
• Review and QA engineering deliverables for accuracy.
