Job summary

Toth & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Engineer - I/II to design, analyze, and implement transmission and distribution lines, ensuring safe, reliable power delivery under mentorship.

Responsibilities include using PLS-CADD to create models, prepare materials lists, ensure compliance with NESC, and assemble complete construction packages while coordinating with clients and field teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BSCE/BSME/BSEE required.
• 1+ years of transmission line design experience preferred.
• EIT certification and plan to obtain PE license.
• Familiarity with transmission and distribution engineering principles, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures.
• Utilize PLS-CADD and other software to create models and staking plans.
• Prepare materials lists considering terrain, weather, and electrical load.
• Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and regulatory standards including NESC.
• Assemble complete construction packages with plan and profile sheets and BOMs.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and engineers to support project execution.
• Coordinate project timelines and provide technical support during construction.
