Job summary

Toth & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Engineer to design and analyze high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures. You will model lines with PLS-CADD, prepare staking plans, and assemble complete construction packages for field crews.

The candidate should have an ABET-accredited engineering degree, 1+ year in transmission line design, and EIT certification with intent to obtain a PE license. Strong analytical and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (BSCE/BSME/BSEE).
• 1+ year experience in transmission line design.
• EIT certification; PE license planned.
• Knowledge of NESC and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures.
• Perform structural, electrical, and load flow analyses.
• Create virtual models with PLS-CADD and develop staking plans.
• Assemble construction packages with BOMs, staking sheets, and profiles.
• Coordinate with clients and field teams during construction.
• Review deliverables for quality and accuracy.
