Kimley-Horn in Downtown San Diego, CA is seeking a Transmission Engineer to join our Power Delivery team. You will guide projects from design through delivery, oversee technical work, and help expand client relationships with local utilities and developers.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/related engineering, 4+ years in Power Delivery, and strong leadership and mentoring skills. California PE license preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering field; Master’s degree preferred.
• California PE license preferred.
• 4+ years in Power Delivery (transmission, substation, or power studies/design).
• Strong business development and client-networking experience.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee technical work for Power Delivery projects (transmission and distribution).
• Lead preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Mentor junior staff and develop a collaborative work culture.
• Coordinate with regulators for timely project approvals and permits.
• Build and maintain client relationships with utilities and developers.
