Job summary

Toth and Associates, Inc. (TOTH) seeks a Transmission Engineer I/II to design and analyze high‑voltage lines and substation structures. You will develop calculations, drawings, and materials lists under project mentorship to ensure safe, reliable power delivery.

Responsibilities include load-flow analyses, staking sheets, construction packages, and QA of deliverables. A BSCE/BSME/BSEE from an ABET program is required; EIT preferred and PE planned.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (EE/CE).
• 1+ years of transmission line design experience preferred.
• EIT certification and plan to obtain PE license.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design high-voltage transmission lines, poles, and substation structures.
• Perform structural, electrical, and load flow analyses to ensure reliability.
• Use PLS-CADD and other software to create models and staking plans.
• Prepare materials lists, staking sheets, and construction packages.
• Interface with clients and team to support project execution and QA.
