Job summary

Duke Energy seeks a Transmission Contracts Manager (or Senior Analyst) to oversee transmission provider activities, manage tariffs, contracts and interconnection agreements, and support regulatory compliance.

You will interface with customers and providers, assess credit risk, and help develop process measures for transmission service agreements. Hybrid work and normal travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and extensive experience required; alternate path for high school with years of experience.
• Experience in contract management, negotiations and regulatory filings is expected.
• Knowledge of OATT and related Federal regulations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate negotiation and execution of transmission service and interconnection agreements with billing per OATT.
• Develop understanding of the OATT and applicable Federal regulations.
• Maintain transmission customer accounts and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assess creditworthiness and secure instruments to protect Duke Energy; manage EQR updates.
• Implement process measures for transmission agreements and contribute to provider process measures.
