Duke Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead hands-on design of transmission lines 69 kV and above. The role requires independent work, advanced technical skills, and ability to deliver complex studies with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include contributing to RFPs, conducting analyses, and preparing precise technical documents. Hybrid mobility is offered with relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ABET accredited BS in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural focus.
• Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of BS.
• Experience with transmission line design and construction; 5–7 years recommended.

Responsabilités

• Support competitive proposal efforts by contributing to RFP documents and aligning with project goals.
• Provide engineering/technical guidance on problems of increasing scope and complexity.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work activities to meet business goals and project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, sketches and documentation for defined problems.
