Job summary

Ameren is seeking an Engineering and Construction Supervisor to oversee the construction and modification of transmission facilities. You will manage contractor crews, review project schedules, and ensure safety and quality compliance on site.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, 7+ years of construction leadership, and strong communication skills. Occasional out-of-town assignments and shift work may be required; the posting closes on the stated date with competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university required. PE license preferred.
• 7+ years of project construction or project leadership experience required.
• Supervisory or contractor leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite field management and coordination for electric Transmission projects with 20–100+ contractor personnel.
• Mentor Construction Engineer and provide guidance on safety and quality.
• Initiate and audit jobsite safety and quality control procedures and documentation.
• Interpret Ameren specs, drawings and instructions to contractors and ensure compliance.
• Facilitate progress meetings; track safety, quality, schedule and budget, resolve issues.
