Job summary

Techserv in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Transmission Construction Representative to oversee the construction of transmission lines and station facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and client standards.

You will coordinate contractor duties, review plans for constructability, manage materials and outages, and provide site oversight to maintain safety and quality. This role requires travel to remote sites, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work long hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in USA
• ABET/engineering tech or engineering management degrees preferred
• 6+ years construction experience for a higher level track

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor duties for transmission line/station construction.
• Review client plans for constructability and report issues.
• Provide site coordination to ensure regulatory and client standards compliance.
• Generate progress reports; interface with client databases.
• Provide quality feedback on contractors, materials and equipment.
• Manage materials: inspection, shortages, delivery to site.
• Coordinate outages with Operation Center and Dispatch.
• Maintain OSHA compliance per program.
