Job summary

Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and heights.
• Industrial or hazardous materials experience is a plus.
• Must meet safety requirements including background screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products.
• Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs.
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation.
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures.
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly.
• Support switching crews and other site operations as required.

The company provides a wide range of rail services including industrial switching, material handling, terminal & transload services, short line operations, railcar staging, train assembly, and related services.

Hourly pay for this position will be between $24-26 per hour, based on experience.

Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. This role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed.
