Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals in Colorado is seeking Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators to safely load and unload railcars, operate transloading equipment, and support rail operations in line with safety and environmental standards.

You will handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials, complete logs, and assist switching crews as needed. Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus; work outdoors 7 AM–4 PM with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required, CDL is a NICE to have.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills
• Transloading experience is a plus.
• Experience with skid-steers.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working at heights
• Industrial or hazardous materials experience considered an asset
• Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening
• Hours for this position are 7AM to 4PM with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures

Position Summary

Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. This role includes operating transloading equipment, handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, performing inspections, completing documentation, and supporting rail operations as needed.
