Job summary

Sanofi Cambridge, MA is seeking a Scientist I for a 6-month contract to support early pipeline programs. The role focuses on translating disease biology into therapeutic strategies using translational biology, animal models, and in vitro assays.

You will design mechanism-of-action studies, perform PK/PD analyses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance targets toward IND/CTA readiness. Strong documentation and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years biotech/pharma experience.
• Master's degree with 3+ years biotech/pharma experience.
• PhD with 0–3 years experience or relevant in-school experience.

Responsibilities

• Study disease mechanisms and target validation.
• Design MoA, PK/PD studies using animal models and in vitro assays.
• Conduct cell culture experiments to support target validation and assays.
• Present findings and progress in internal meetings and external venues.
